Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada Arif Virani announced the appointment of Benoit Duchesne as a judge of the Federal Court, a Sept. 23 news release announced. He replaces Justice P. Pamel who was promoted to the Federal Court of Appeal effective Sept. 20.
