US Seizes $18M From NECC Owners Charged In Outbreak
The federal government has seized more than $18 million from three shareholders in the now-bankrupt New England Compounding Center who were charged with crimes following a deadly meningitis outbreak in 2012 caused by tainted steroid injections the company distributed, the U.S. Department of Justice said Tuesday.
