A Seventh Circuit judge on Thursday pressed counsel for a home healthcare company and the plaintiff that won a judgment finding the company violated the Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act to show what evidence in the record supported a lower court's reliance on a spreadsheet of claims to award nearly $6 million in damages.
