JPMorgan, Assurant Settle Calif. Force-Placed Claims
JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Assurant Inc. have reached a deal with a group of California plaintiffs to end a suit over the companies' force-placed insurance business, following a $300 million deal with a Florida class last year, according to a Monday court filing.
