NYC Health Care Provider Pays $4M To End OT Class Action
New York City Health and Hospitals Corp., the largest municipal health care provider in the U.S., will pay $4 million to settle a putative class action over its alleged failure to pay overtime wages to marketing representatives, according to documents filed in New York federal court Thursday.

New York City Health and Hospitals Corp., the nation's largest municipal health care provider, can't duck a proposed class action claiming it failed to pay overtime wages, a federal judge said Wednesday, ruling HHC isn't a "political subdivision" that would be exempt under state law.
