A federal magistrate judge overseeing a massive multidistrict lawsuit military veterans and service members brought against 3M for faulty combat earplugs warned plaintiffs' attorneys Saturday that sanctions would be issued if they continued to create duplicate claims and filings that she said wasted court resources and added needless complexity to the largest multidistrict litigation in U.S. history.
