WTC Cleanup Workers 'Not Free From Fault,' 2nd Circ. Hears
The Battery Park City Authority told the Second Circuit Wednesday that licensed asbestos handlers who did cleanup work near Ground Zero were "not free from fault" and therefore should not benefit from a New York state law that would allow them to file time-barred claims.

Don't Revive WTC Debris Exposure Claims, 2nd Circ. Urged
The Battery Park City Authority is urging the Second Circuit not to revive negligence claims brought by licensed asbestos handlers who did clean-up work near Ground Zero, saying a lower court correctly determined that a New York state law allowing the time-barred claims to go forward violated the state constitution.
