Texas Sales Tax Remit Still Due March 20, Despite COVID-19

Texas businesses will still have to remit monthly sales tax by the state's March 20 deadline despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the Texas state comptroller said in a recently issued press release.

In the press release issued Tuesday, the comptroller said the March 20 deadline still applies to businesses and urged them to use the state's online payment and filing tools.
