Orchard's Ch. 11 Auction Plan Chills Competition, Lender Says
A major creditor in Orchard Supply Hardware Stores Corp.'s bankruptcy case took issue Monday with the company's plan to sell the bulk of its stores with Lowe's Home Improvement LLC as a $205 million stalking horse bidder, arguing the auction's minimum overbid is too high and may chill competitive bidding.

Bankrupt Hardware Chain Orchard Can Hold Liquidation Sales
A Delaware bankruptcy judge gave the nod Friday for Orchard Supply Hardware Stores Corp. to hold going-out-of-business sales at eight locations to bring in cash that could help fund its strategy to sell the bulk of its stores to Lowe's Cos. Inc., which entered a $205 million stalking horse bid.

Bankrupt Hardware Chain Orchard Gets Nod For $176M DIP
A Delaware bankruptcy judge gave his blessing Tuesday to a slate of first-day motions for Orchard Supply Hardware Stores Corp., including debtor-in-possession facilities totaling $176 million, designed to keep the home-and-garden chain operating while it pursues a Chapter 11 sale to Lowe's Home Improvement LLC.
