10th Circ. Reverses Sanctions On Tax Fraudster Couple
The Tenth Circuit on Friday reversed a district court's sanctions against a couple from New Mexico accused of tax evasion, saying that the plaintiffs didn't get a chance to respond to the sanctions because the district court never notified them.

10th Circ. OKs $18M Judgment Due To Bad Record Keeping
The Tenth Circuit on Friday agreed with calculations made by the Internal Revenue Service when it slapped a New Mexico couple with $18 million in past-due taxes, saying the couple's lack of record keeping required the IRS to reconstruct their income.
