Lender Says $4M Suit Over Seized Plane Isn't Time-Barred
An Indiana bank has urged a federal judge to reject an AIG Inc. unit's assertion that it waited too long to file a lawsuit seeking $4.3 million from the insurer after an aircraft for which the bank provided a loan was seized by Brazilian tax officials, arguing that a one-year limitation in the policy doesn't apply.
