A Texas man appears bound to represent himself once again in a lawsuit alleging he owes $25.6 million in unpaid federal income taxes after his lawyer of little more than a month said he wanted out and the government agreed Tuesday, although it wants to strike "scandalous" allegations the client inserted in the attorney's motion to withdraw.

Texas Resident Can't Drag Others Into $25M Tax Suit
A Texas federal magistrate judge recommended Friday that a Lone Star State man not be allowed to drag several others with him in combatting a government lawsuit alleging $25.6 million in unpaid federal income taxes, recommending that only the taxpayer's former wife should remain.
