DHS Lacks Evidence To Alter Detainee Deal, Plaintiffs Say
Plaintiffs seeking to enforce a 1997 class action settlement that set national standards for the treatment of children detained by immigration authorities have blasted the government's bid to modify the deal, telling a California court Friday that the recent increase in children coming to the U.S. isn't enough to change the agreement.
