A federal judge has tossed whistleblowers' claims that Blackwater Worldwide fraudulently charged the government for Iraq and Afghanistan security work performed by unqualified, criminal and steroid-addled contractors from a $1.2 billion false claims suit, saying those charges were already public knowledge.

Blackwater Security Consulting LLC has asked a federal judge to bar former workers and their lawyer from talking to the media about their suit accusing the security company of bilking the U.S. government out of $1.2 billion in contracts in New Orleans, Iraq and Afghanistan.
