    Boston Scientific Corp., Abbott Laboratories and a Johnson & Johnson unit on Monday urged a Texas federal judge to end a former Guidant Corp. employee's long-running whistleblower litigation over off-label marketing of digestive tract stents, arguing he still hasn't sufficiently alleged False Claims Act violations.

    A former Guidant Corp. employee asked a Texas federal court Friday to reopen a qui tam suit alleging Boston Scientific Corp., Abbott Laboratories and other makers of digestive tract stents entered a marketing scheme to promote the products for unapproved uses elsewhere in the body.
