The Ninth Circuit on Monday upheld a decision dismissing a Time Warner Cable employee's proposed class action claiming the company's timeclock system that rounded to the nearest quarter-hour deprived him of wages, saying the practice was generally fair and the amount in question was too small to consider.

Time Warner Cable technical support agents urged a Ninth Circuit panel Thursday to revive their putative class action over the company's policy of rounding timecard hours, saying the previous judge who threw out the case had ignored evidence that the policy shorts workers and wrongly concluded it is wage-neutral.
