A Nebraska federal magistrate on Tuesday granted Northrop Grumman's request to force an employee who filed a discrimination suit to be more specific in answering questions on retaliation, gender discrimination and sexual harassment claims, saying her answers could help sharpen the case.

A Nebraska federal judge on Monday refused to toss a discrimination suit filed by a Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. employee working under a military contract, ruling that although vague in some areas, the plaintiff's allegations were enough to go forward with the case.
