Kawasaki Rail Car Inc. reached a final settlement this week in New York federal court with a 67-year-old software engineer and former employee who claimed the company engaged in age discrimination and treated him differently than co-workers of Japanese origin.

A 67-year-old former employee of Kawasaki Rail Car Inc. has hit the company with a suit in federal court alleging that his managers illegally worked to force him out of his job because of his age and his national origin.
