An Alabama beverage distributor must face a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission suit alleging it illegally fired a warehouse worker because of medical restrictions put in place after he suffered a pulmonary embolism, a federal judge said Monday, ruling a jury must decide whether he was qualified for his job.
