Rival cookie companies Crumbl and Dirty Dough have reached a tentative settlement to end a trade secrets spat over recipes taken by a former Crumbl executive to Dirty Dough.

A Utah federal judge has denied gourmet cookie retailer Crumbl's request to bar fast-growing rival Dirty Dough from opening new stores and to force its executives to concede they stole proprietary recipes and blueprints, finding that doing so would go too far and be "profoundly anti-competitive."
