A Massachusetts federal judge granted an unopposed request to certify a collective action brought by managers at 60-plus Dunkin' Donuts locations who claim they were required to work more than 40 hours a week without overtime pay.

A former manager at a Massachusetts Dunkin' location accused her bosses of lying about the pay structure in the job application and not paying overtime despite expecting six-day, 48-hour weeks from store managers, according to a proposed collective action filed in Boston federal court Tuesday that seeks to represent workers at more than 60 franchises in the state.
